All our wood burning stoves are Ecodesign Ready.
Log and Wood Burning stoves offer the most dramatic and powerful flame pictures available, together with high heat efficiency associated with modern stoves. All our wood burning stoves are certified DEFRA Exempt, which means you can use them in smoke controlled areas. Our wood burning stoves have also been independently certified to meet BS EN13240 and EN13229, in compliance with our ISO9001 accreditation.
Burning wood using a modern high performance stove from Charlton & Jenrick is not only environmentally responsible, but the powerful heating effect, combined with the warm ambience of the flame pictures simply can’t be beaten.
The advent of clean combustion and air washes to keep the glass panel clean means stoves perform better than ever. It is often said that nothing beats the effect of a real fire, so if you picture winter evenings snuggled up with a loved one in front of the fire, then it is best achieved with a log or wood burning stove. A stove can be free standing on its own or fit into an inglenook, it can be inset or chambered, in a traditional or modern Adam style fireplace, or it can be fitted hole-in-the-wall.
Logs or Wood?
Our stoves are essentially multi-fuel, which means you can burn a range of suitable materials, although we do recommend that you only burn well seasoned logs, for the maximum efficiency. Wood is also ok to burn on our stoves, as long as it has not been treated or pained previously (for example, with door, furniture or old floor panels).
